Dr Tshegofatso Gopane

Dr Tshegofatso Gopane is a medical doctor with a passion for social change and has a career spanning 15 years in the Health sector.

Dr Tshegofatso Gopane, founder and CEO of Tshela Healthcare is family medical practitioner that continues to run a clinical medical practice along with a consulting and advisory services company in the health and education sector servicing various clientele in the mining, health insurance, higher education and government arena.

She serves in various roles which include Healthcare Portfolio Chair in the Black Business Council, Board member of the Health professionals Council of South Africa and the South African Medical and Dental Practitioners Association. Past roles include board member of the Black Management Forum, Deputy Chair of The Northern Cape Arts and Culture Council and former secretary of South African Women in Mining in the Northern Cape.

She holds an MBChB, Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration and currently completing a Post Graduate Diploma in Health Economics.
